Linda & Jean-Louis Gerin, a success story

A New Beginning at NECI

After nearly thirty wonderful years in Greenwich, in December 2012, I accepted the position of Vice President of Culinary Operations and Executive Chef at the New England Culinary Institute (NECI) in Montpelier, Vermont.  This is an extraordinary opportunity for me at an outstanding teaching school for talented young chefs. I will be able to use all of my management skills and experience at NECI, both coaching the talented chef/instructor force and continuing to innovate in French cuisine.
I first came to Greenwich for Guy Savoy in 1983. The restaurant on Lewis Street became Restaurant Jean-Louis in 1985.

Food Network should give you your own show. You’d be an instant hit!!!

Hello Linda and Jean-Louis,
I am an old client who used to come in quite often for lunch with a former business partner. I saw “Chopped” last night and wanted to congratulate both. Brought back great memories of wonderful meals and lingering afternoons at Jean-Louis. Congratulations again and best of luck.

I just watched an episode of chopped and absolutely loved watching you! You are such a humble and genuinely brilliant person. I live in South Africa so I just had to send some love from all the way over her. You are brilliant!
